# Auteur

> Auteur builds software for the moment a person has to decide what an AI agent should do. Its first product is Muster, an app that reads every action an AI agent takes before it runs and asks you on your iPhone before anything permanent happens. Muster is releasing soon.

Auteur's line is "Machines can act. Judgment stays human." AI is already doing the work, faster than anyone can check it; Auteur works on the second before software acts on a person's behalf: what the person needs to see, how fast they can judge it, and when a machine should simply wait. Most of that work is private. Muster is the one piece made public.
