Auteur began with a question Darpreet Singh had been circling since he was fifteen, through a coding nonprofit, a college-counselling service and software for therapists: why don’t people change? In 2026, as software started acting on people’s behalf, it became a sharper one. When should a machine stop and let a person decide? He co-founded Auteur that year to work on it. Muster is the first thing it will release.
